Weddings | Emily & Sam | Newton, MA

What a day! I hope I can adequately put into words how special this wedding was. It was my first wedding back after a long quarantine break. I was so excited and and honored to be a part of this wedding. When Covid-19 forced Emily & Sam to change their plans from a 200+ person wedding in Boston to an intimate backyard ceremony and dinner for 10 in their garage, they decided to roll with it and make it as perfect as they could. Emily’s mom took special care to incorporate so many beautiful and personal details (including individual hand sanitizer favors). There was also a large poster board with photos of every guest that would have been there in person if they could have been. That may have been the first time that day I got choked up. I was most impressed by the amazing technology that allowed hundreds of guests to watch the ceremony zoom style, as well as speakers who popped in and out via zoom to offer prayers and toasts. The festivities continued after the ceremony with an outstanding drive-by parade of guests to offer their congratulations. It was so joyous! I was again impressed that just 10 people could create such a rocking dance floor! I had an amazing time being a small part of the celebrations. Congratulations Emily & Sam!
